"We parked across the street from the CNN Center and had no traffic problems before or after the concert. Waiting in a booth in the atrium at the CNN Center was very pleasant; we then walked directly into the State Farm Arena since they are "attached". It did rain but only after eating at the Food Court and while waiting to get in line. We arrived three hours early at the CNN Center, wary of traffic, weather, and parking. We were searched as we went through security which was reassuring since large crowds sometimes seem to attract some unbalanced people. The 7:30 concert started around 8:00 with no opening act--it was Buena Vista Social Club - Musical's show and they were outstanding.
One aisle over someone fell down the steps after the show started and we could see arena personnel removing someone on a stretcher. Beware and be prepared to walk up and down those steep concrete steps! We went up two escalators to the top of the arena and then had to walk down steep concrete steps to our row with only a center railing to hold on to."
